How much will my quote cost?

Signeffects is happy to never charge for quotations.

Can Signeffects help me produce a tender package for my signage requirements?

Yes we can! For larger projects, a tender may be the way for you to go. Signeffects has developed tender packages for clients to help ensure that they are comparing apples to apples. By working with you to assess your needs, we can come up with the solutions that are best suited to your needs.

How do I know I will be pleased with my sign once it is installed?

No need to worry! Before any production work begins, Signeffects can show you renderings of your proposed signage in place on your vehicle, building, etc. You will be able to see what it looks like before production so changes can be made if required.

I've just opened my business and do not have a logo yet.

Signeffects offers complete design services including logo design and corporate identity. We would be pleased to put our creative talents to work on your project.

Can SignEffects fabricate things other than signs?

We're often asked by our clients to design and/or fabricate things other than signs. Our fabrication shop is fully equipped to manufacture all sorts of things. We've built complete custom trade show exhibits, display cases, snowmobile trailers and many other things. We can work from your drawings or can design the item for you.

Are there size limitations?

Yes and no. Signeffects has manufactured and installed illuminated signs as large as 8' x 60'. When building signs this big, safety becomes a concern. Signeffects often works with structural engineers to ensure that large projects are built to spec and that safety issues are addressed.

Can Signeffects service my sign, even if they didn't make it?

Yes we can. As the sign owner, you decide who you want to call for service and repairs as required. We service signs manufactured by others on a routine basis. Our knowledgeable installation crew can have you back in lights in no time.

I'm moving, can I bring my signs with me?

This can be a tricky question to answer. Sometimes when businesses lease space, part of their lease includes usage of existing signage components. These components would be owned by the landlord and would have to stay behind. If however, you own your sign outright, you may be able to have it moved to your new location. Consideration should be given to zoning and applicable by-laws before the sign is moved. Signeffects provides a complete installation service and can manage these issues and details for you, freeing up your time for more important things.

Does Signeffects offer service contracts for their signs?

No. It has been our experience over the years, that the signs we manufacture rarely need service. Therefore, having a service contract is not cost effective for our clients.

Does Signeffects install free standing illuminated signs?

Absolutely! Signeffects can handle the complete project including, fabrication, permits, line locates, excavation, hydro supply and inspection, concrete work and installation of the pylon sign. Visit the photo gallery to see some examples of our work.

What types of material can be routed?

We have worked with numerous materials on our routing system including:

Aluminum
Plexiglass (Acrylic)
Celtec and Sintra (Expanded PVC)

Phenolic

What is the largest size that can be routed?

Our MultiCam flatbed router can handle sheet sizes up to 55" x 105", and thicknesses up to 3". If your requirements are for larger elements, our fabricating shop can assemble multiple pieces to create a finished product of virtually any size.

How accurate is the finished routed product?

Our equipment is accurate to within 1/1000th of an inch on x, y, and z axis. If you require multiple pieces, you can be assured that they will be the same.

What special effects can be created with a router?

Routing is not limited to cutting 2D shapes out of flat stock. Material can be engraved, 3D plunge routed, or have surfaces of multiple depths. Different router bits can also be used to provide interesting profiles. If you're not sure if it can be done, just ask. We love a challenge.
